In order to reach the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science from the city center, take Bus 7, or 14, or 21, “Campus Express” to the terminus, called “Campus - Università Sud”. It takes around 20 minutes (via Bus 14, 21, Campus Express) or 30 minutes (via Bus 7).
Bus timetables are available here (click on "Linee e Orari" and then on "Linee Urbane").
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science is a pale pink building located 50 meters south from the bus terminus.
Wireless internet will be available. Clerical support, copying, and printing are available on request, but the meeting is intended to be paperless.
A bar and a restaurant just in front of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science provide (cheap) snacks, drinks and lunches. Further businesses are within walking distance on campus.
Vending machines providing snacks and drinks are in the department's basement.
There are plans to furnish teleconference capabilities: details will be provided later.

There are plenty of hotels in Parma. The following hotels and residences have special prices thanks to an agreement with the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. These agreements expire on December 31st every year: at the time of writing, nothing suggests they will not be renewed for 2014. Please reserve your room by contacting the hotel directly. If you tell the hotel that you will be attending the “WG14 Meeting” organized by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, you should be billed the reduced price. In case the hotel requires a confirmation by us, just send a message to bagnara@cs.unipr.itNote: The Ibis Hotel will stop offering a reduced price, starting Jan. 2014
